080 :: The Necroshire Confines

A full week this week. I had to have a small day surgery operation on Tuesday which required me to take an inordinate amount of laxatives over the bank holiday weekend last weekend. I can’t say I enjoyed the whole experience but I’m glad its over. The knock on effect is I may be able to come of some of the medication I’ve been taking since I was 17 so thats a massive win.

I spent the day with my brother who is back from halfway around the world for 10days. I wont see him again till Christmas. We went for a long walk along the Thames. Caught up and hung out.

Yesterday I hung out with Mr vickers. We had brunch in soho and then walked though a bustling Regent’s park and chatted about how the universe works.

After that I jumped on the train and went to my old housemates birthday there were many dogs. All attempts at ballgames were swiftly abandond.

I talk about what ‘The Mainstream’ means for me with regard to the Dark Forest Internet.

“Friends shouldn’t let friends go into the woods alone”

Note: I overwrote the script a little bit and had to cut about 5 seconds worth of pauses and breaths out of this episode so the delivery is a little manic. (Soz)

A Drunk Face Walking though East London

Got drunk in east with that cutie Huw Lemmey on Friday, and walked back though the city down to Temple in an attempt to try and sober up before the next drinking engagement. I had an ice cream as it was a really lovely sunny day. Because I have been trying to spend less and less time ‘Plugged in’ I wasn’t listening to music or an audiobook/podcast. It was really nice, reminded me of being a teenager somehow. The 3 beers in the middle of the afternoon probably had something to do with that too.

I’ve been meditating a lot in the last 2 weeks on top of my usual practice and i’m really feeling it. Im hoping to get some sun rise and sun set practice in whilst I’m away next week.

The weather has been lovely this week and my tomatoes are nearly in need of staking up. Importantly we have a friend coming over to water the garden when we are on holiday next week.

Episode 8. Fast and incoherent.

I actually tried to see how fast I could record and edit this week considering how I now have my workflow kinda down. The whole thing was done in 45mins, could be better but I now know what 15mins worth of *better* sounds like vs some of the older episodes.

The idea of doing 30 episodes in 30days I think is a good one, it’ll be like forced evolution and rapid prototyping.

Dipping the stacks

I ready do wish there was a shipping forecast for London twitter drama.

Since I installed twitter de-metricisor the month has been some what surreal but i’m really enjoying it.
